Job Purpose :

Sales Manager needs to develop generate and grow new digital marketing business strategies, creating innovative online marketing sales plans, and exhibiting expertise in digital marketing solutions. Should be able to read and understand client needs and have an ability to find and sell a solution as well as have team leading expertise.

The Sales Manager is responsible for Zoo Media maintaining a leadership position in the market by contributing to:

- Success of a set of assigned client accounts, leading to account renewals and upsells

- Building of capable, independent, and motivated teams

- Smooth inter-department collaboration through timely, accurate, and complete dispensing and collection of information

Role Responsibilities & Deliverables :

- Working with Account Management, Creative, and other internal functional teams.

- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and close sales. Upselling of solutions in large accounts and thus maximize revenue.

- Selling web and digital marketing services/solutions including SEO, paid media, social media, and ORM to businesses.

- Create effective and persuasive proposals. Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual online marketing sales quotas.

- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.

- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.

- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients- objectives.

- Contributing to pitch presentations and personally pitching to clients to acquire new business.

- Managing the teamwork in terms of presentations, daily activities etc.


- Competitor analysis: Should be aware of the work being done by the competition and come up with strategies to acquire those accounts.

- Providing management with client/market feedback.

- Ability to identify client needs and deciding deliverables for the same.

Core Competencies :

- Strong interpersonal/communication skills; you will be the face-to-face between various departments at their busiest moments.

- Good judgment; you know when to escalate an issue and when to abide.

- Thorough understanding of and genuine enthusiasm for the creative and production processes.

- Excellent with numbers and Data Analysis.

- Excellent storytelling abilities and good at thinking on their feet.

Desired Qualifications & Experience :

1. UG - Any Graduate - Any Specialization OR PG - Any PG Course - Any Specialization; Post Graduation Not Mandatory.

2. Candidates with 3+ years of work experience can apply. Should have preferably been involved in Sales, Business Development, Market Research, Client Acquisition, Strategy and Execution

3. Prior team management experience preferred


4. Proven & demonstrable experience of being able to work under pressure and multi-task. Should be comfortable with handling pressure since the role demands it.
