Position Summary
The Sales Head - North India will be a key member of our sales organization, directly responsible for exceeding sales targets across the Northern Indian territories. This is an individual contributor role with a focus on personally generating leads, building strong client relationships, and closing significant deals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B sales, deep knowledge of the North Indian market, and excellent negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead Generation and Pipeline Development : Develop and execute strategies to proactively identify and qualify high-potential leads across the North Indian territory. Utilize a combination of networking, cold outreach, digital marketing, and market research to build a strong sales pipeline.
Strategic Account Management : Cultivate deep relationships with key decision-makers in target accounts. Understand their business challenges and present tailored solutions demonstrating the value of our products/services.
Sales Execution : Lead the complete sales cycle, including needs assessments, product demonstrations, proposal development, contract negotiation, and successful deal closure.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting : Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular pipeline updates to senior management. Utilize CRM tools effectively to track sales activities, progress, and results.
Market Intelligence : Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and customer buying patterns within North India. Share insights to refine sales strategies and enhance the company's competitive position.
Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align sales efforts with the overall company strategy.
