Designation: Content Writer

Location: Bangalore

Education: Any graduation with relevant experience

We are looking for a Content Writer to research, write, proofread, and publish content online.

As a content writer, you will get a chance to work with the research team as well as the marketing team to craft stories which will showcase the company's offerings and thought leadership. The responsibilities will include creating newsletters, writing articles, blogs, and any kind of content - both for internal and external communication. The content needs to be of a high quality and the veracity validated through fact-checking and proof-reading. As part of your responsibilities, you will also review and restructure reports or analyst pieces as and when required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Content Writing

- Write content not limited to blog posts and marketing copy to promote our products and services

- Researching industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)

- Writing clear marketing copy to promote our products/services

- Preparing well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems

- Craft content and storyboard content for newsletters for customers

- Work in collaboration with research, consulting, and design teams to publish content and copy consistent to the brand guidelines, style sheet, and tonality Optimize published pieces using SEO guidelines

- Proofread and edit blog posts before publication

- Generate new ideas around industry-related topics keeping in mind the customer persona

- Proofread, restructure, review, and edit blogs/articles/reports/whitepapers by analysts/consultants

- Check the basic format of the reports to ensure consistency in layout, presentation of numbering, reference style, graphs, and ensure adherence to the style guidelines

- Closely work with analysts and leads to provide necessary suggestions and support, and ensure output of the finest quality

- Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement

Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, or a similar role

- Excellent writing and editing skills in English

- Attention to detail

- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress) and Microsoft Word, Excel is a plus

- Familiarity with SEO and keyword research is a plus

- Ability to multi-task and work on different content channels simultaneously

- Basic primary and secondary research skills

- A strong can-do attitude

- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management
