Job Description:


- We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and should have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.


- As a business development manager you'll be concerned with improving and growing the business, by fostering and developing relationships with clients i.e. schools and school authorities. You may work to improve profitability through careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, or to enhance the business operations.


Responsibilities:


- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction


- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs


- Tie up with new educational partners


- Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; analyzing market strategies and discovering and exploring opportunities


- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients and promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients- objectives


- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.


- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support


- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers


- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications,maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.


- Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests


- Exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments


- Designing and developing Marketing and Sales Strategies


Desired Skills and Experience:


- Proven experience of 2-3 years in sales in the Education and Service Industry


- Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets


- An excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates


- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally


- Good IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets


- A professional manner and presentable appearance for meeting customers/clients


- Good networking skills


- Other soft skills include: Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Professionalism
