Y-Axis - Head - Marketing (10-20 yrs)

We are looking for a creative, innovative, and enthusiastic Head of Marketing. Reporting to the CEO & COO, you will lead the marketing team and spearhead all marketing activities. You will be responsible for the advertising, branding, marketing and public relations strategy, to build brand recall, generate leads and increase sales.

What you will do:

- Lead the marketing team and provide vision and oversight to the development and implementation of marketing, advertising, sales initiatives and digital campaigns as well as SEO/SEM programs.

- Identify marketing strategies and compelling campaigns and partnerships to accelerate revenue growth, drive traffic to our website, and increase sales pipeline, customer acquisition, and retention rates

- Set and achieve strategic goals related to social media metrics, print and digital advertising and marketing campaign initiatives.

- Develop and execute a go-to-market plan across various digital media channels, including Search, Social, Email, Display & Mobile, that results in revenue growth for the organization.

- Build weekly, monthly and quarterly go-to-market plans for lead generation.

- Optimize performance through a digital media mix comprised of PPC, paid search, paid social, retargeting and display media campaigns.

- Review and manage content marketing and social media strategy and guide the creation of content in line with the media / digital / business requirement.

- Maintain and improve our social media strategy using Facebook, Twitter, and Blogs and build a value-added strategy to engage followers

- Develop & optimise paid and organic search strategies, paid & organic social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.

- Drive the creative strategy and maintenance of the corporate website.

- Review the effectiveness of campaigns and advertising and ensure a shift in how the brand and marketing communications are executed  against specific markets and objectives and ensure key performance indicators are met.

- Leverage market research and internal teams insights to think creatively about segmenting, targeting and reaching potential customers with the appropriate channels and messages.

- Collaborates with the sales team to create data-driven strategies and content for all outbound marketing campaigns with the goal of building a qualified pipeline.

- Monitor, marketing and sales performance and adjusts strategies as needed.

- Front cross functional planning with Brand, Social, Communication, Analytics & Retention teams to ensure acquisition channels are properly leveraged into integrated marketing campaigns.

- Plan, direct and coordinate marketing budgets in accordance to organizational goals

- Research and analyses market trends, competitor offerings, demographics, and other information that affects marketing strategies.

- Measure the impact of customer marketing activities on customer growth, retention and financial outcomes, and communicate these impacts within the organization.

- Track and report on Performance KPIs across all acquisition channels to measure and optimise ROI, based on in-depth analysis of standard digital metrics.

- Develop KPI's and marketing reports for the executive team on account performance, interpret data, and provide actionable plans based on insights

- Lead, manage and develop direct reports and create an inspiring environment that results in improved productivity, team collaboration, creativity, and results

- Interview, hire, and train key marketing staff members, including marketing managers, marketing executives, web and content writers.

- Keep up to date with digital best practice, industry changes & opportunities

What we look for :

- Masters/Bachelor's degree in Marketing, business, digital media or related field.

- 10-12 years- experience in marketing or channel management, 4+ years of experience in a leadership position.

- An evidenced based track-record of making changes to brand, communications, reputation management and/or marketing technologies and seeing growth in customers, business and value.

- Proven track record of success in driving both performance and brand marketing programs, with focus on digital marketing, customer acquisition, promotions, re-targeting and analytics

- Extensive team leadership, with specific accountability for brand and - go to market- management in a complex customer facing industry.

- Highly analytical and able to make data-driven decisions and establish effective metrics to approach marketing strategy and spend, to build go to market plans.

- Highly experienced with Google Ads and FB/IG media buying, PPC, paid social, paid display, and other digital media advertising channels

- Experience of using adservers, DSP's & paid search automation tools.

- Experienced with Google Analytics and other tracking, measurement, and analysis tools to run successful performance marketing campaigns

- Asset and brand management skills and a solid demonstration of website management

- Deep organizational skills and ability to manage diverse teams in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills combined with an aptitude for business development.

- Digital first thinking and evidence of the positive impact it's had on a business/brand/CX.

- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, self-start, contribute and work in an entrepreneurial environment
