Job Overview:

As an Account Manager Modern Trade (Food Category), you will be responsible for driving sales and profitable growth within the Modern Trade channel for food products. You will work closely with key accounts, managing their needs and ensuring that the company's food products are well-positioned and represented. You will also be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the Modern Trade channel, developing and implementing sales strategies, and managing relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute sales strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives for the food category within the Modern Trade channel

- Manage key accounts within the Modern Trade channel, ensuring that the company's food products are well-positioned and represented

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Modern Trade channel, building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers

- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the food category, including market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities

- Analyze sales data and develop actionable insights and recommendations to drive sales growth within the food category

- Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations, to ensure effective execution of sales strategies and initiatives

- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management on progress and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and account management, preferably in the food industry

- Proven track record of driving sales growth within the Modern Trade channel

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
