About the Role :

- We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern to join our team. As an SDR intern, you will be responsible for assisting the sales team by conducting pre-sales research, identifying potential sales opportunities, and gathering data on sales findings and numbers. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a keen interest in sales and business development. This internship program offers valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct pre-sales research :


- Utilize various online resources to gather information about prospective clients, industry trends, and market developments.

- Identify potential leads that align with our target customer profile through thorough research and data analysis.

- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to enhance the effectiveness of sales strategies.

Gather and analyze sales data :

- Compile and analyze industry data, sales figures, and market trends to provide sales representatives with valuable insights.

- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of sales reports, presentations, and performance dashboards.

- Collaborate with the sales team to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to optimize sales performance.

Support sales team :

- Assist in prospecting efforts by conducting cold calls and emails to initiate contact and set up meetings.

- Coordinate with sales representatives to ensure timely follow-up with potential customers.

- Maintain accurate and updated records of all activities, customer interactions, and sales activities in the CRM system.

Enhance communication efforts :

- Craft compelling email templates, sales scripts, and presentation materials to support the sales team.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective messaging and sales collateral.

- Participate in meetings and training sessions to develop knowledge of industry-specific trends and company products/services.

Requirements :

- Currently pursuing a degree in business administration, marketing, or related field preferred. Recent graduates are also welcome to apply.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Proficient in conducting online research and analyzing data.

- Solid understanding of sales processes and techniques.

- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Proficiency in using CRM systems and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Enthusiasm for learning and developing sales skills.

- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related roles is a plus.

Duration and Compensation : This is a paid internship position with a flexible duration of 6 months. The intern will be expected to work Mon-Fri, with the possibility of remote work and some flexibility in terms of work schedule.
