What is the role of a Creative Content Associate?

The content associate job description includes creating informative, engaging

content including website descriptions, SEO content, blog posts, Quora answers and other marketing communication. You- ll be the one to shape the web content, product communications and other marketing campaigns. It includes writing long and short articles for the Wink & Nod brand. These articles will be posted on our website (traffic of more than 2 lac users per month), social media handles, third party blogs etc.

Wink & Nod strongly condemns plagiarism and does not want any copied content hence the incumbent should be extremely creative and should have unique writing approach.

Your copy should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements for interesting reading. The goal is to attract and engage the target audience.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Writing campaigns and directing the overall content strategy.

- Research for relevant topics/ keywords and write SEO-focused short and long content pieces for:

- Website blogs

- Third party blogs

- PR articles

- Undertake data-backed research and provide engaging value-adding content on social media platforms like Quora and relevant communities

- Create catchy and relevant content for our email campaign newsletters which are sent periodically

- Create copy based on requirements for different campaigns

- Work with product and marketing team to produce content across verticals of website, SEO, company blog and sales comms

- Revise copy as per feedback

- Ensure final content is communicating the right message

- Ensure final content is engaging and on-brand

Required Experience and Qualifications

-A learning and hustling attitude

- Prior creative/ professional English copywriting experience

- Ability to create and critique written comms

- Strong understanding of existing and emerging content writing practices

- Familiarity with popular writing styles adapted to target channel

- A keen eye for details

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

- Prior experience with writing SEO optimized content is a plus

- Degree in English/Arts or related field is a plus

Additional good to have requirements

- Owner of blogs / websites etc. which generates regular content

- Strong understanding of Google's Search Engine Optimization and leveraging content for better organic ranking

- Past work for any media agency or any PR related content writing work

- Prior experience in managing social media profiles (FB, Instagram, Twitter,Pinterest, Quora, LinkedIn) of a customer-centric company
