JOB DESCRIPTION

- The Startup team at WebEngage has grown from 3 members to 15+ members in the last 2 years and has worked with 300+ startups. We are looking for a BDR to join the team in the next phase of growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Reach out to prospects and introduce them to the WebEngage Startup Program. Understand their business, stage, requirements etc. and get them onboard.
- Run demos for prospects to help them understand the platform and solution better based on
- Deliver monthly and quarterly quotas.
- Own, nurture and convert TAL (Target Account list) shared by the demand gen team.
- Represent WebEngage Startup program at various startup events/meetups, etc.
- Collaborate with community and events teams to invite customers and prospects for
WebEngage events and meetups.
- Keep the CRM and leads reports up to date
Ideal Profile:
- 1-3 years of prior experience in business development in a B2B setup or a fast-growing startup. (Prior experience in the B2B SaaS or CPaaS industry will be an advantage)
- Experience in lead generation, hunting, email and LinkedIn reach-outs and tools like
LinkedIn Sales Nav, Salesforce CRM, Lusha, Outreach, or similar tools.
- Has excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Has strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Has a strong bias for action and is a self-starter
- Someone who enjoys networking and being around people.
