Vice President - Zonal Sales - NBFC (10-15 yrs)

Our client is one of the leading NBFCs in India backed by one of the largest banks in India. They offer financial services in a specialized space and are one of the reputed players in their field.

They are looking to hire a VP for Zonal Sales, as part of their sales team.

Reporting to the head of sales, you will be responsible for:

1. Developing a business plan to achieve the business targets, and driving the sales team towards it

2. Building and growing the business in the territory assigned, for cards, personal loans and other products

3. Developing sound regional and local business strategies, maintaining equitable distributions of business across channels and segments

4. Building and leading the team, training and motivating them to achieve the targets

5. Identifying business development opportunities for mass acquisition, lowering the cost of customer acquisition

6. Enhancing team productivity through interventions like sales training, functional training etc

The Ideal Candidate : 

- You will be a post graduate in business with 10-15 years of work experience, preferably from banking and financial services sector. Good knowledge of the banking industry in general, and cards industry in specific is critical to this role.

- You must have strong sales experience in leading a large team, with demonstrated experience in sales excellence. You must have ability to build a business from scratch, think strategically to come up with a business plan and business forecast. You must be aware of the best practices, prevalent and emerging trends in the industry.

- Excellent communication skills and team management skills, and a proactive attitude are qualities that will differentiate the successful candidate.
