Job Description

The person will be based in Delhi NCR and report into to the Director - Client Services. This position will be responsible for championing the sales of all channel properties, including airtime, AFPs, sponsorship of programmes and on ground events, websites, apps and other properties This role will require strong skill sets in business development - with the ability to self-manage client outreach, pipelines and sales goals.

Vice President - Client Services will manage a geographically dispersed client list in a disciplined, metric-focused environment and will require moderate amount of travel. This role will be responsible for cultivating and managing deep relationships with clients and advertising agencies and working closely with the programming and marketing departments of the channel - so good communication skills are a must!

Responsibilities

- Think like business development, close like sales

- This role is designed for a consultative, creative, and tenacious partner who has the ability to conceive and close sophisticated client solutions

- Consistently achieve annual sales targets based on the channel's revenue objectives.

- Clearly learn and express the value and benefits advertising on the channel, custom solutions, audience to clients and agencies

- Develop unique strategies that cater to programmes and events to specific advertising categories and brands

- Work with the programming and editorial departments to develop new revenue-generating properties

- Lead the team through example and guidance.

Desired Candidate Profile

- A graduate degree; MBA or other advanced degree would be a plus

- Demonstrated accomplishment and leadership in consultative selling

- A minimum of 8 years of progressively successful sales experience in media, entertainment, events, digital media,

- Existing senior level relationships with advertising clients and agencies

- Experience must include annual sales targets above 5 crores.

- Practical yet creative in terms of developing innovative approaches to sales.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to develop sales forecasts.

- Ability to travel, cold calling and prospecting.

- High energy, self-confidence, communication skills and drive to make things happen.
