Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and executing sales strategies. The Business Development Executive will also be responsible for creating and delivering presentations, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts.

Key Accountabilities :

1. Tele-calling Responsibilities :

- Execute tele-calling activities targeting both International and Indian Maritime clients.

- Adhere to the validated sales pitch strategy for effective communication.

- Engage with clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.

2. Lead Generation and Relationship Building :

- Identify and pursue new sales leads within the Maritime industry.

- Develop and nurture relationships with prospective clients to enhance business opportunities.

- Regularly update and maintain a comprehensive database of potential clients.

3. Market Analysis and Competitive Advantage :

- Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.

- Work towards establishing and maintaining competitive advantages in the Maritime sector.

4. Business Meetings :

- Arrange and conduct business meetings with potential clients to discuss offerings and address their requirements.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between client needs and company capabilities.

5. Record Maintenance :

- Keep accurate records of all sales calls, client interactions, and follow-up activities.

6. Sales Metrics Tracking :

- Monitor and track key metrics to evaluate progress towards sales targets.

- Provide regular reports and updates to the Business Development Manager on sales performance.

7. Continuous Improvement :

- Actively seek feedback and learn from client interactions to enhance sales strategies.

- Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the sales approach.

Qualifications :

A candidate for the Business Development Executive role at Valad Infotech Solutions should possess :

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Bachelor's degree in any field

- Experience in sales, business development, or related field

- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies and meet sales targets

- Strong negotiation and presentation skills

- Knowledge of the Maritime industry is a plus

- International exposure with experience in international sales will be an added advantage
