We're looking for a passionate, design literate and self motivated individual for our luxury home textiles brand, VAYA (www.vayahome.com). At VAYA, we edit, design, manufacture and distribute fabrics for use as draperies and upholsterers through retailers across India.

During your tenure, clear goals will be established for you to meet on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. At a high level, your duties shall consist of (but will not be limited to, and can be changed as per the need of the organisation) the following -

Key parts of your role include maintaining an active pipeline of interior decorators (end consumers) + vendors, coordinating product design activities and engaging with clients on a marketing level. Post on-boarding, the role will involve account management (brand and retailer) and communicating product feedback and improvement recommendations.

Business Development - Find and onboard channel partners that fit the target for the brand through various channels such as direct sales (going and meeting them in person at their location)

Product Development + Co-ordination - Work with the product team and external designers to give inputs, facilitate and manage the design and development of the final product

Revenue Streams - Work with the team to test and implement other avenues for revenue generation - for example, a B2C platform where we can sell products directly to the end consumer by executing small events and trade shows or partnerships with existing retailers and concept stores.

Communication Management - Manage social media content and work with the team to keep the social profiles and blog up-to-date with engaging content

Operations - Co-ordinate and manage photoshoots, product catalogues and collection launch each season
