Utkarsh Classes & Edutech - Manager - Social Media (5-7 yrs)

Role: -

The Social Media Manager is responsible for managing the company's social presence on all popular social media platforms. This includes creating an online brand, interacting with current and potential customers, and raising the company's public profile.

Responsibilities: -

- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.

- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.

- Engage with followers and fans by answering questions and listening to their feedback.

- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news).

- Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency.

- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.

- Oversee social media accounts' and grow the number of followers on social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.)

- Create advertising campaigns by promoting on Facebook groups, Twitter lists, and Instagram accounts.

- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.

- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.

- Monitor current events, trending topics, and brand competition

- Communicate effectively to all stakeholders including senior management and content developers.

- Perform other marketing duties as needed.

- Create monthly reports of activities that generate ROI.

Desired Skills & Experiences: -

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent practical experience. (mandatory).

- 5-7 years of proven work experience in social media management such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Telegram.

- Hands-on experience in content management.

- Excellent copywriting skills.

- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).

- Knowledge of online marketing channels.

- Excellent communication skills.
