Position Title : Alumni Engagement Strategist or Social Media Manager
Roles and Responsibilities :
1. Develop and expand alumni community of a school
2. Create and implement digital engagement strategies for alumni of the school
3. Drive engagement of Alumni
4. Focus on the experience and success of alumni
5. Educate alumni about initiatives of the school
6. Encourage alumni to act as advocates
7. Weekly reports to track :
a. Content & Campaign reach out.
b. Responses and Engagement Numbers
Knowledge, Skills & Attitude (Required for the role) :
1. 3 years of proven experience in communications, marketing, analytics, or related field with proven success
2. A strong writer and content creator
3. Understanding of various engaging methods using emails and social media.
4. Survey construction and analytics
5. Understands engagement and marketing on social media universe including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.
6. Clear understanding and expertise of using the internet and internet related technologies, current trends, and advancements in the mobile and social media space.
7. Interest in Photography and Videography is an advantage
8. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms; copywriting/proofreading and editing skills are mandatory
9. Experience successfully managing medium-large projects involving participation and coordination of several resources and departments
