JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 - Collaborate with internal and external health care subject matter experts to write original content that generates interest, positions the organization as a thought leader and indirectly generates sales leads.

 - Content assignments are intended to focus on writing blog posts, white papers, issue briefs, sales collateral, PowerPoint presentations, social media posts, email copy, infographics, press releases, proofreading, copy editing, website text, speeches, reports and other content.

 - Media relations via digital and social media, website comments, guest blogging, article submission, story pitching.

 - Write, edit and act as organization gatekeeper for all external facing written content.

 - Writing style that is SEO friendly with compelling headlines and calls-to-action.

 - Editing for consistency, clarity, brevity, accuracy, and readability, across digital, print and video scripts.

 - Lead and collaborate on content marketing strategy.

 - Assist marketing team in writing brand, positioning, slogan, taglines.

 - Manage the editorial and publishing calendar for all media channels.

 - Maintain the library of written content for organization.

 - Keeps up-to-date with news and current best practices within the healthcare industry.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

 - Five or more years of experience writing health care related content for digital and print to support marketing, branding, thought leadership and sales lead generation.

 - Creative, innovative, outside-the-box thinker with a passion to create world-class content.

 - Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strong proofreading and editing skills, very detail-oriented.

 - Fluent in social media platforms with an understanding of best practices across digital channels.

 - Able to align multiple brand strategies and ideas.

 - Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO.

 - Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Google Docs.
