Market Expansion : The entire team at ToneTag is aligned with a single purpose - making ToneTag the de-facto standard in mobile payments. In order to achieve this, it is imperative that we have a country wide acceptance network which is bigger than any other in India now, and globally in the next phase of expansion. In order to make this a reality, it is critical that we acquire some of the biggest retail brands across industries. The Expansion Manager will be responsible for leading this front and ensuring that the top retail brands in India joins the ToneTag acceptance network, at a rapid pace.

Job description :

- Support Senior Management team in developing and communicating a sound sales strategy to maximize revenue and profitability, and to capitalize on new market opportunities.

- Scan the competitive market to understand and evaluate the service offerings of other companies and partners, as well as keep up to date with the rules and regulations affecting the payments industry.

- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the Company's payment and non-payment solutions, technologies and services.

- Engage in business development activities to acquire new customers and expand the Company's existing client base and revenue sources within India and outside.

- Solicit clients and potential new revenue sources through cold calling, networking through strategic partners, by subscribing to industry blogs, publications and social media.

- Work alongside the Marketing department to identify new marketing opportunities such as new ideas for promotions, online advertising, direct marketing, web presence and product offerings.

- Update the CRM system to track leads and identify solid business opportunities.

- Formal weekly updates to report progress, potential leads and overall sales pipeline.

- Report to senior management on a monthly basis where you are at with respect to budgeted quotas as well as communicate pipeline sales for the next 3 quarters.

- Liaise with different internal departments to channel feedback on customer and partner requirements, preferences and value-added features.

- Measure the effectiveness of various sales strategies and tactics by determining the impact on the bottom line.

Desired Skills and Experience :

- Must possess a university degree in Commerce, Business Administration or in an equivalent field of study.

- Should bring 5 to 8 years of relevant sales and business development experience, specifically within the mobile/online payment industry in India, as well as B2B experience.

- Should have a proven track record in generating new business and in exceeding your sales targets.

- Should have spent a significant part of your career in a mid-sales role and you understand the constant demands and changes associated with this position.

- Should have the ability to strategically select potential clients and focus on maintaining multiple sourcing alternatives to ensure a continuous pipeline of potential prospects for new business and revenue opportunities.

- Should have the patience and the ability to tactfully handle client inquiries and negotiations.

- Should be a self-motivator who can work independently, and possess strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
