Experience Range : 12+ Years

Relevant Experience Range : 10+ years with 3+ years of experience as Art Director Position

Objective:

1. To translate marketing and branding strategies/concepts/ideas into innovative and impressive campaigns that stimulate targeted audiences.

2. To manage the art & design work for the organization

3. To lead and manage designers and artists, by hiring, assigning, scheduling and mentoring them

4. To establish productivity and quality framework for art and design work

5. To ensure team adheres to the existing design processes, to suggest ways for its continuous improvement and to propose and create processes & tools to support design operations

6. To collaborate with marketing and other business teams in formulating creative plan and align creative team priorities with Business requirements and objectives

7. To generate art layouts from creative copy/ concept and manage designers/ artists to deliver final artworks /designs

8. To analyse learner needs, industry trends, competitor's work and track Organization's creative performance as per the stated objectives of the organization / brand or a campaign.

1. From an organization perspective, to create awareness about the brands and courses and building trust and loyalty with learners while engaging and informing them

2. From a business perspective, to generate enquiries; helping sales team in conversion of the prospect and also for referrals

Roles and Responsibilities

The roles and responsibilities include

1. Ensure consistency of design across all the online and offline marketing channels

2. Adhere to brand guidelines

3. Conceptualize campaign vision, harnessing original graphics, social media, websites and other marketing materials

4. To generate sketch/ art layouts/ storyboards/roughs from a creative copy/idea;

5. To decide which art element to use on a project/concept

6. To assign various elements of art concept to designers/artists and to manage, train & guide them

7. Commission specialists (artists, photographers, etc) to work on projects

8. Take creative assignment from concept stage till final execution stage

9. To review, amend, approve and share final designs and artwork.

10. Vet the design and artwork and be responsible for its suitability, adequacy, aesthetics and ensure it's not a copy/imitation of some other design task

11. Amend, revise or redevelop the design or artwork in response to the inputs and feedback from users or other stakeholders, internal or external till its accepted by all

12. To set quality & quantity standards for all art and design jobs

13. Understand Organization, its mission, vision and values, its brands and structure

14. Familiarise with the courses it offers, the academic and industry partners, learning proposition of the courses and its TG and their persona

15. Familiarise with the brand proposition and its language, design elements

16. Understanding marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience

17. Collaborate with fellow copywriting and content writing team members on various projects and tasks

18. Keep users informed by reviewing illustrative material for presentation

19. Be up-to date with current art, design & communication trends and culture

20. Able to give timelines for the task and ensure to meet the set timelines

21. Be ready to take up requests for new and varied art forms

The communication needs to be created for Digital & non-digital media with special emphasis on Digital Media.

The designs include following but are not limited to..

1. A rendition of overarching communication theme/concept which can be used across media: Digital, Print, BTL, OOH, TV/Radio and any other media

2. Brochure, Leaflets, design

3. For digital media: Paid ad campaign designs including social media banners,, GIFs, Carousels, Videos, etc

4. Organic social media posts - optimised for different platforms; Whatsapp Posts

5. Website & Landing Page Designs

6. Emailers

7. Print: Newspaper & Magazine Ads

8. In-Centre or In-shop collaterals: Standees, Wall Designs, Danglers, Posters, etc

9. OOH; BTL Collaterals: Banners, Gates,

10. Videos - Promotional, social media and explainer videos & Radio jingles

11. Design of Blogs, Articles, Guides, Listicles, Infographics, Q&As

12. Promotion communications for Event (Webinar, Seminar, Career Fair) including landing pages

Desired Skills / Knowledge :

2. Web-development experience

3. Solid knowledge of Video production

4. Proficiency in various Digital marketing tools for creating banner & emailer designs, videos, etc

5. Keep a tab of all kinds of media including social media

6. Worked in Education or Ed-tech industry

7. Marketing function knowledge and understanding
