Job Overview:

The AVP Sales is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve revenue goals, drive business growth, and enhance customer satisfaction. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and collaborating with other departments to ensure overall business success.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:

- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team.

- Set and achieve revenue targets, sales quotas, and other key performance indicators.

- Foster a high-performance culture within the sales team.

Strategy Development:

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with the overall business objectives.

- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.

Team Management:

- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.

- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.

- Ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly.

Sales Operations:

- Oversee the day-to-day sales operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting.

- Implement and utilize CRM tools to track and analyze sales performance.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to business growth.

- Provide input on product development based on customer feedback and market insights.

Budget Management:

- Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is often preferred.

- Proven experience in sales leadership roles, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
