Position Summary :

We are looking for a PR specialist who has can manage media relations for the brand and own all channels of internal and external communications. Someone with 2-3 years of Lifestyle and Fashion PR experience. Having strong media contacts in Fashion/ Luxury/ Lifestyle field will be an added advantage for this position.

Team Overview :


We are a team found by 4 and 400 people big, with a couple of retail stores in Mumbai and an extremely high online presence. As of 2021, The Souled Store has ~250 employees on our payroll and ~120 people as contract staff. Responsibilities :

- Supporting in PR campaign planning, closely aligned with TSS objectives

- Establishing, building and maintaining good media relations and going on media rounds

- Drafting and disseminating press releases, draft responses for clients, internal briefs, pitch for proactive stories, brand building, etc.

- Managing media for all events, photoshoots, press conferences, etc.

- Organizing, managing and attending related PR events

- Monitoring social media at large for relevant content being published

Skills :

- Technical

- Powerpoint: Drafting presentations

- Social Media Posts

- Excel: Data inputs

- Basic skills of working on LinkedIn, Twitter, etc

- Editorial

- Press Release + Comments

- Research and Case presentations

- Ability to prepare internal communication docs

- Have an excellent command of written spoken English

Values and Mindsets :

- Familiarity with pop culture and understanding of consumer behavior in lifestyle,

retail and fashion industry.

- Should be able to multi-task, work on deadlines and think on one's feet.

- Comfortable operating in a matrix and constantly changing environment.

Education and Experience :

- Graduate/ Diploma/ Post Graduate in Communication

- 2-3 years of PR & media relations experience in a reputed PR firm

- Proficiency in English and one regional language

- Skills in social media will be added advantage

- Candidate must have the willingness to travel as per PR activity plan
