The Social Booth - Senior Consultant - Content Writing (8-10 yrs)

The Social Booth is looking for a senior consultant to guide our existing content team.

- Identify areas of improvement for the content team (i.e. training the team on best practices, ensure they are up to date about their industry - trends, new content buckets,content led platform best practices, etc)

- Should understand and be able to explain to the team the best practices of Social media that need to be applied when proposing content strategies/creating content 


- Work closely with the content team to pitch new content buckets and ideas wherever feasible

- Should be able to train the content team on basics of writing copy e.g. how an ad copy is different from a social media copy, how to include CTA- s, etc

- Work closely with the content team and report back on team and individual performance

- Work on pitches - help with building narratives, articulation of the campaign thought & work on ideas that are an extension of the main campaign thought

- Hold knowledge workshops on different topics relevant to copywriting and content strategy- showcase case studies, train the team on best practices that should be followed, sessions on creative thinking & campaign ideation (how to come up with overarching themes/ big ideas)

- Suggest upskilling opportunities for the team - webinars/ seminars/ workshops/ online courses

- Oversee content calendars and content strategy reports to understand the gaps and share insights for increasing the quality of output

Skill set requirements

- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (copywriting & content strategy) in the digital marketing industry

- Ability to be a good conceptual thinker

- Should have strong editorial and copywriting skills

- Must have experience of leading a copy/ content team

- Must have worked on multiple digital campaigns (across all popular platforms) in the past in addition to full-fledged pitches

- Should understand digital project & campaign execution processes

- Above all, should have a strong portfolio of executed campaigns which must include creative copy written for various digital collaterals
