Excellent overall writing skills in a number of different styles / tones with impeccable spelling and grammar

Developing unique content for client website. Responsible for writing fresh & creative content.

Develop and produce high quality product-related documentation set

This documentation suite includes, but is not limited to: user guides, reference guides, administration guides, installation guides, configuration guides, release notes, and upgrade guides.

Demonstrated Skills and Abilities:

Outstanding skills in writing about complex technical subjects to a variety of audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge

Excellent written English

Proven experience of technical editing/writing in a similar role

Ability to be self-directed and effective working independently

Comfortable contributing in a fast-paced global team environment

Affinity for technology and a proven background in technical writing/editing and information design

Precise documentation and clear communication skills

Experience with version controls on documentation or experience with working on a content management system

Experience working in agile software development environment

Work closely with product management, development and test teams to document new product features, in a fashion akin to investigative reporting ability to self-edit.

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in English, engineering, communications, linguistics, or related field (Master's degree preferred) with 4-8 years of technical writing/editing experience; other similar, related writing experience will be considered.

Technical Skill set:

Experience or background in other areas of computer science such as databases, Web technologies, networking, or programming is a plus

Experience with Adobe RoboHelp, Madcap Flare or other authoring tools is a plus

Experience with self-service training software (E.g. Camtasia, Captivate) and Content Management Systems for documentation is a plus.
