Job Description As a Business Development Manager, the candidate is responsible for growing the business of the company in the designated territory. The ideal candidate should be a go-getter, willing to put in hard work & self-motivated to work with a start-up and can see the bigger picture on long term growth. Fluency in at least one regional language, in addition to English & HIndi is expected

Prior work experience in the Financial services, education industry preferred

Responsibilities and Duties : 

- To achieve the business targets of the company

- Channel management and developing the channel for education loans

- Partner Management and new partner addition of education partners

- Make presentations, address students and participate in PTM, Student fairs and conference to explain the product features and get them signed up

- Willingness to make cold calls, work on referrals and get an entry into institutions with the objective of forging relationships

- Having an understanding of how the education industry operates and what it takes to penetrate that space

- Demonstrate value in the product proposition to target customers

- Having an ear to the ground to spot opportunities across segments and closely follow industry related developments

- Be proactive to identify high risk areas with a view to avoid targeting those territories

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications :

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications Experience: Up to 3 years is preferable, though fresher graduates willing to learn straight from the market are also eligible.

- Excellent communication and networking skills

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver numbers

- He/she should be a self-starter and a quick learner to keep himself/herself of abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends

- Should be innovative in approach and a quick-thinker

- Perseverance & hard working natureOwn vehicle

Advantages : 

- Fluency in at least one regional language, in addition to English & Hindi Prior work experience in the education industry

- To have worked in Loans(assets) business in a bank/NBFC/DSA.
