About the Product Manager role :

- We are looking for a product manager to join our team. The person will be responsible for working with our partners to explore ways to collect / disburse payments locally all over the globe. They will also work with our engineers and design team to ensure that the orchestration can happen smoothly and in a way that scales. This is an opportunity to work on a fast growing checkout option on B2B marketplaces and have the opportunity to solve a very real and complex problem.

- The product manager will work with the founders, engineers, designers, other PMs, compliance and legal consultants, and most importantly, with end customers to ensure we follow an iterative process to deliver a product which works. The product manager should obsess about the user experience and constantly think of ways to deliver value to the customer and build a bigger and better moat.

- Since we are in our early days and this is an early hire into our product team, we will look for someone who shares our vision and is going to be an important part of shaping the culture of the company and of the product philosophy. We are looking for someone who is intelligent, resourceful, scrappy and can get things done. The person should be comfortable working independently and in a small team.

Responsibilities:

As Product Manager, you will:

- Manage the design, development and delivery of one or more of the Company's products, in line with the vision of the founders and the Company's strategy. This will involve:

- Translating key product hypotheses into product workflows and wireframes

- Validating the features, wireframes and UX with internal and external stakeholder

- Prioritising the product vision into sprints and communicating the same to the technology team through the product build-out journey

- Ensuring the timely release of the products, in line with what is promised with our customers and partners

- Ensuring the functionality integrity of the product and a high innovation quotient in every product release

- Act as the product champion with customers, including:

- Validating the needs of the customers and ensuring the products address the most important and under-served needs

- Acting as the Customer Success Manager for Disprz for the first customers of any new product or feature you manage, before handing the responsibilities to the Customer Success team

- Communicating product release notes to the customers

- Provide key pre-sales and marketing input to the Sales and Marketing team, including:

- Undertaking detailed product competitor analysis to communicate how our products differentiate from competition

- Participating in the pre-sales process, especially during the first few releases of a new product / feature.

The Ideal Candidate :

Education :

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

- Formal Certifications in Product management.

Experience :

- 8+ years of product management experience

- Experience orchestrating 3rd party APIs to deliver an end to end user experience

- Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate customer challenges

- Tolerance for ambiguity & a hustler mindset

- Design mindset and obsessive about user experience

- Prior experience with startups (especially a Fintech or payments company) is a plus

- Understanding of E-commerce and B2B sector is a plus.
