Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to handle the corporate clients on solution sales. The candidate should have proven track record on identifying opportunity on institutional sales, working out with nodes inside the corporates, and with key stakeholders on product; and final sales actualisation.

Responsibilities :

1. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.

2. Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure optimal performance and goal attainment.

3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.

4. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new sales opportunities.

5. Oversee the creation of compelling sales presentations and promotional materials.

6. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners.

7. Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and editorial, to align sales strategies with overall business goals.

8. Monitor and analyze sales data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven decisions.

9. Develop and manage the sales budget, allocating resources efficiently to achieve sales objectives.

10. Stay informed about industry developments, emerging trends, and best practices.

12. Proven experience of the publishing industry, book sales processes, and distribution channels.

13. Demonstrate ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

14. Results-driven and goal-oriented.

Qualifications :

- Experience : At least 5- 6 years in sales.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.

- Ability to understand customer needs and provide solutions accordingly.

- Experience in sales and marketing of academic products is preferred.

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills

- Bachelor's degree in B.com/Commerce Background

- Fluency in English
