The Opportunity :

- Tars is looking to hire a Sales Development Rep (SDR) to join their growing sales team.

- An SDR is the first voice of the company to potential customers.

- Your role will be to seek new business opportunities from inbound leads by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers through various channels.

- Once a prospect has sufficient interest and wants to explore our solution, you will introduce them to an Account Executive (AE) who will be responsible for handling that relationship until they subscribe and sign a contract.

Responsibilities :

KPIs - Number of sales qualified leads (SQLs), $ pipeline created.

- Reach out to the leads using various outreach methods including emails, phone calls and LinkedIn.

- bYour primary responsibility is to engage those people, understand their needs, provide them helpful information and handle that relationship until they are interested enough to explore our solution.

- You will also be required to chat with website visitors occasionally to answer their questions and convert them into qualified leads.

- Use CRM (Hubspot) to maintain and report on your activity and outcome metrics.

- Participate in regular meetings to share progress, identify blockers and improve performance.

- You will be supported by a marketing team that is constantly creating case studies, educational content and newsletters to support your outreach.

Skills and Experience :

- Impeccable written and verbal communication.

- Any experience in SaaS sales to the US geography is a must.

- Comfortable working in the US EST hours

Discipline - The most successful SDRs are very disciplined with their day to day activities. Ensuring you are making enough calls, sending enough emails, LinkedIn connects is half the battle won.

Persistence - The quality, consistency and frequency of follow-ups after initial outreach separates the average SDRs from the best.

Articulating value prop - You need to have conviction and clarity on the value our solution offers to potential customers. This will enable you to articulate clearly and also handle objections raised by the prospect.

Competitive and like to win - You want to win and are willing to work hard to get there. You are open to learning from others that are succeeding.

Objection Handling - You need to be able to hold natural conversations while handling objections that prospects share with you.
