Job Description :

- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and achieving sales targets in a designated geographic area. You will oversee a team of sales representatives and work closely with them to ensure the effective execution of sales strategies.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve the company's sales targets within the assigned area.

- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to maximize their performance and productivity.

- Provide training and guidance to the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer relationship management.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to the sales team members.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new sales opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, Channel Partners, distributors, and other stakeholders in the assigned area.

- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to provide input on market needs, customer preferences, and product improvements.

- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to the senior management team.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.

- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact sales operations.

Requirements :

- 8+ years experience Industrial Electronics Component businesses/Switchgear/Electrical Panel Accessories/Instrumentation Products/Electromechanical products segment

Qualifications : Diploma/BE/B.Tech-Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Instrumentation etc

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth.

- Previous experience in a sales management role, preferably in the same industry or a related field.

- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.

- Sound knowledge of sales techniques, customer relationship management, and market dynamics.

- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify sales opportunities, assess risks, and develop effective strategies.

- Willingness to travel within the assigned area as needed.
