Role : Responsible for New Business Development, Sales & Payment Collection in allocated area.

- Data Sourcing & Management, Lead Generation, New Business Development, Sales Proposals, Sales Conversion, Competitor Management, Customer Data Base Maintenance, Organizing Corrosion Awareness Programmes & Shop Floor Training, Customer Co-ordination.


Tasks & Responsibilities : 


Data Sourcing & Management : 

- Source accurate contact information of key decision makers of prospective customers from online sources like Linkedin, Fundoodata, Google Search and from offline sources such as MIDC Business Directories, etc as well as from networks of self and that of the decision maker of user departments in the engineering, automobile, power sectors.

- Maintain the database on the internal templates of the organization and share with Sr. Management / Marketing / Sales Teams as and when required.

Lead Generation : 

- Identify Large Corporate Clients and develop healthy relationships with key personnel to pave the way for Long Term, Value added Business.

- Share leads with the Sr. Marketing Team.

- Convert leads into new business.

New Business Development : 

- Identify potential customers in Chennai, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur & Vellore Districts.

- Set up Sales Meetings with key decision makers at potential customer end and Suprabha's Sr. Marketing Team.

- Have effective Sales Meetings in order to:

- Understand the operations of the customer.

- Position Suprabha as the best option for the customer.

- Generate requirements for trial orders from the customer.

Sales Proposals : 

- Create presentations based on customer requirements.

- Co-ordinate with Sales Team to generate proposals.

Sales Conversion : 

- Negotiate Win-Win deals.

- Maintain profitability index as per management guidelines.

Monitor Competitor Activities and Convert Orders : 

- Keep track of existing and new VCI Competitors

- Collect Information regarding product and pricing strategy, presence, etc.

- Convert competitor business and prevent competitors from taking away Suprabha's business.

Maintain Customer Data Base : 

- Maintain up-to-date Customer Data Base and share with Management / Marketing / Sales Teams as and when required.

- Organize Corrosion Awareness Programmes & Shop Floor Training

- Set up appointments with Customers / Potential Customers for holding Corrosion Awareness Programmes at their premises which will be conducted by Suprabha's Sr. Marketing Team.

- Ensure participation of all concerned departments such as Production, Quality, Maintenance, Packing, Dispatch, Purchase.

- Facilitate shop floor training for the workers, supervisors, etc. at client premises to educate them on corrosion prevention.

Customer Co-ordination :

- Write emails professionally to record all discussions with the customer.

- Co-ordinate professionally over phone/whatsapp as warranted, with the customer.

- Be the interface between the customer and Suprabha's Sales/Marketing Teams.

Monitor Customer Relations : 

- Continue to monitor customer relations at regular intervals even after handing over customers to the Sales Team.

- Intervene in case of any issues to maintain smooth business relations with the customer and protect Suprabha's interests at all times.
