Position Overview:

As a business development executive focused on college outreach, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and driving enrolments for our placement-linked graduate skills development courses within the Colleges and Universities sector. You will work closely with the leadership team to execute strategies aimed at building awareness, engagement, and interest among colleges, universities, and academic institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research: Conduct research to identify colleges and universities that align with our target audience and course offerings. Analyze market trends, competitors, and opportunities to tailor our approach effectively.

2. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, faculty, and administrators at colleges and universities. Cultivate partnerships to promote our courses as valuable additions to their curriculum.

3. Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, email campaigns, and social media content, tailored to the college audience.

4. Campaign Execution: Plan and execute marketing campaigns targeted at colleges. Utilize various channels, including email marketing, social media, webinars, and virtual events, to engage colleges and generate interest.

5. Events and Presentations: Represent SGFS at college fairs, educational conferences, and on-campus events. Deliver presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of our short-term finance courses.

6. Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and outreach efforts. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve conversion rates.

7. Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from colleges, faculty, and students to continuously improve our course offerings. Provide valuable insights to our product development team.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.

- Passion for education and financial literacy.

Previous Experience

1. 2 -5 years of experience in business development for the education and/or edtech sector- mandatory

2. Knowledge of finance and financial education- preferred

3. Familiarity with college and university systems and processes- preferred
