Job Description :
Strategy Development : Develop and implement trade marketing strategies that align with he company. overall marketing and sales objectives. This includes understanding the market, competitors, and consumer behavior.
Merchandising and Promotions : Plan and execute in-store merchandising and promotional activities. This can involve creating eye-catching displays, coordinating sales promotions ,and ensuring that product placement optimizes sales.
Supplier Collaboration : to negotiate trade terms, promotions, and co-marketing activities. Build strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership.
Category Management : Assortment, pricing, and inventory levels. Analyze category performance and make recommendations for improvements.
Data Analysis : Assess the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives. Monitor sales trends,
promotional ROI, and customer feedback to make data-driven decisions.
Budget Management : Ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve sales and marketing objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : With other departments, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment of trade marketing strategies with overall business goals.
Market Research : To understand consumer preferences, trends, and competitor activities and identify growth opportunities.
Promotional Materials : Brochures, flyers, and displays, that effectively communicate product benefits and promotions to customers.
Compliance : Trade marketing activities should comply with industry regulations and company policies, including pricing regulations, advertising guidelines, and product labeling.
Training and Development : To store staffs to ensure they are knowledgeable about trade marketing initiatives and can effectively communicate them to customers.
Performance Evaluation : Set KPIs and benchmarks for measuring the success of trade marketing initiatives. Regularly evaluate performance and make adjustments as needed.
Forecasting : Work with the B&M team to forecast product demand based on trade marketing activities and promotions.
Customer Engagement : Execute loyalty program and special events to engage and reward loyal customers.
