Startapp Global - Manager - Business Development (2-5 yrs)

We are urgently looking for experienced professionals for the post of Business Development Manager. Please find the job details for the profile.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Prepare a data base of all companies in the region assigned, which are potential buyers of products handled by Startapp Global.

- Based on the data make cold calls to these prospective customers with a view to promote business on behalf of Startapp Global.

- Send out information kit to prospective customer giving information about Startapp Global products and service offerings.

- Arrange for personal visits to customer locations for making presentations and identifying key decisions makers.

- Regularly contact the key representative of target companies to seek out opportunities for submitting quotations, executing sample orders and subsequently enable Startapp Global to become a preferred vendor for the companies.

- Gather market intelligence and share the information in a timely manner to enable Startapp Global to further its business interests.

- Follow the developments with respect to the competition and provide feedback to the company.

- Plan for business growth by identifying opportunities and consistently pursuing them to successful closure.

- Prepare a sales plan and a marketing plan for the region assigned as an input to the organizations business plan.

- Participate in the performance appraisal process for personal and organizational growth.

- Develop the region assigned as a profit center for the organization. Familiarize with Policies and Procedures of the company.

- Will be responsible for additional tasks as assigned by reporting manager.

Skills Set:

- Interest in Marketing and Business acquisition skills

- Experience selling to Virtual Goods, Mobile Apps, Websites / Any kind of Digital Goods

- Must be proficient with MS-Office and lead tracking tools

- Proven track record of sales success.

- Ability to travel

- Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills

- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, manage difficult situations professionally, and respond to client needs promptly while developing and fostering successful business relationships

- Enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with serious work ethic

Qualification: M.B.A or Bachelor degree in Business Administration and Marketing required

Experience: 2+ years
