Sportido - Manager - Sales & Business Development (2-5 yrs)

What we do :

Sportido is a one-of-a-kind Sports discovery app that helps you find people and places to play 700+ sports around you. Our mission is to help people play more by increasing accessibility and availability.

How we are placed :

Founded by a serial tech-entrepreneur in 2016, we are an 8-member team across product, tech, marketing and business development. We have a rapidly growing base of 30k+ users in New Delhi and are now launching in Australia.

We are looking for a Sales & BD Manager (NCR) for:

1. Roles and Responsibilities :

a. To be accountable for the overall sales from NCR region

b. To research, analyse trends and identify opportunities for revenue

c. To speak to customers and convert leads that come through the app

d. To be responsible for on-boarding and to manage relationships with partners and service providers across categories like sports complexes, academies and gyms etc.

e. To hold events and on-ground activations

f. To scout for strategic tie-ups and sponsorships at a national and international level

g. To build and nurture a team of passionate go-getters

h. To be responsible for customer experience

2. Traits and Personality :

a. You are passionate and a self-starter who likes to start and end each day with purpose and enthusiasm

b. You are highly organized and have the ability break down goals into tasks and execute up to fruition

c. You are amiable, charismatic and have good leadership and interpersonal skills

d. You have a unique blend of drive, imagination and risk-taking-ability to do something that's never been done before

e. You whole-heartedly believe in Sportido's mission

3. Your Profile :

a. You have a MBA degree (or equivalent) from a TIER 1 institute like IIM, ISB, XLRI etc.

b. You have at least 2 years of exposure into Sales and Business Development at a Tech-Product company

c. You have strong reporting skills

4. Compensation :

a. Basic salary will be provided.

b. You will be given sweat equity
