Specialist - Social Media Marketing - Media/Journalism House (2-3 yrs)

Overview :

A well known Media/Journalism House is looking for a motivated Social Media Specialist to attract and interact with various virtual communities and social media network users.

The goal is to gradually achieve superior social community engagement, intimacy, website readership and traffic by enhancing all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap for the brand.

Responsibilities :

- Build and execute social media strategies through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.

- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to consume, review and react to social posts.

- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company's social content.

- Curate social media campaigns and editorial calendars and schedules.

- Update and improvise existing content.

- Collaborate with potential online influencers to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.

- Build and engage with communities across online platforms and social networks on a regular basis.

- Ideate and execute social media campaigns.

Requirements :

- Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist

- Consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills

- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge

- Adequate knowledge of SEO, SEM and SMO.

- 2-3 years of relevant experience.
