SPAR Hypermarkets - Category Manager - Personal Care (2-7 yrs)
Category Management - Planning, Sourcing and delivering budgeted Top line & Bottom-line with minimum risk.
Budgeting:
- Phasing category wise store wise annual business plan.
- Reviewing performance of category on targets.
- Improvement and action on deviation.
Vendor and Product Development:
- Assortment planning. Identification of area to introduce new products.
- Development of new product and categories as a part of Innovation in the category
- Vendor Management
- Mitigate Risks in assortment and contingency plans on Product Range
Sales and Margin:
- Tracking progress on targets, identify opportunities and problems, take measures to improve performance.
- Enhance per SFT returns in terms of sales and margins.
New Store:
- Build assortment, Merchandising and VM guidelines for new store.
- New store team training on product.
Inventory and working capital management:
- Control inventory holding within budgeted number of days.
- Identify and implementation of measures to improve inventory holding days.
- Generate negative working capital.
Competition:
- Understand and benchmark competition strengths to improve assortment, display and sales and instore activations.
