Content Writer Responsibilities :

- As a Content Writer at Smart Interviews, you'll get to showcase your expertise in conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.

1. Developing content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website.

2. Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns.

3. Edit and proofread content for errors and inconsistencies.

4. Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.

5. Regularly produce various content types, conduct keyword research, and use SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.

6. Creating compelling headlines and content that will capture the attention of the target audience.

7. Identifying customers needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content.

8. Collaborate with other departments to create innovative content ideas.

Desired Abilities and Experience :

1. Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field.

2. 1+ years experience in Content-writing. Experience in the Edtech industry is a plus.

3. An impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions, and excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, and other social media best practices.

4. A portfolio of published articles.

5. A comfortable presence in front of the camera and the ability to present your as well as others' ideas.

Compensation :

INR 400000 to 500000 per annum, based on the applicant's performance during the interview rounds and experience.

Hiring Process for Content Writer [1 Week process] :

1. Round Zero with our HR - 30 mins: A discussion to get to know you, tell you more about us, talking expectations, roles and responsibilities, and past experiences.

2. Take-Home Assignment : 24 hours: Point of Focus will be the quality of the content you deliver.

3. Round One with the Hiring Manager : 30 mins: Discussion will be focused on company expectations and whether our expectations match yours.

4. Round Two with the CEO : 45 mins: We prefer to personally access the cultural fitness of the candidates before being onboarded as we move forward to structure the organization.

5. Offer rolls out and let's build great things together.
