Job Summary:
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth for our software development company. You will play a key role in expanding our client base and promoting our services to potential customers.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation strategies.
- Develop a deep understanding of our company's software development services and solutions to effectively communicate their value to prospective clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, including C-level executives, IT managers, and project managers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the benefits and features of our software solutions.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals and negotiate contract terms and pricing to close deals.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deals in the CRM system.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify business opportunities and market trends.
- Collaborate with the project delivery team to ensure a smooth transition of new projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in the software development industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of software development processes, technologies, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, generate leads, and close deals.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
