Skuad - Sales Development Role (2-6 yrs)

Who are we looking for?

A results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to actively seek new business opportunities, engage and build relationships with potential customers in the North American market (USA/ Canada) and SE Asia (Singapore). You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every potential customer to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

What is the job like?

- Research, identify and prospect for new customers, including collecting information related to the prospect, prospect's company and industry, and compelling events to make effective and meaningful conversations

- Nurture and qualify leads who have shown interest in our company's product or solution and have already engaged with our company through its marketing channels. (Inbound sales prospecting)

- Reach out to potential customers who have never engaged with your company's product or solution, i.e., cold prospecting, through phone, email and social media (outbound sales prospecting)

- Present our company to potential prospects and identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services

- Take interested prospects through the demo stage of the sales pipeline, and convert them to a sales qualified lead

- Create the list of questions to ask during the call or create a sales call script to qualify or disqualify leads, and to set up quality lead meetings for sales executives.

- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Account Executives

- Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects

- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

- Provide Account Executives with detailed notes on prospect interaction and deal insights to ensure the opportunity is understood, and next steps are clearly defined during Sales Qualified Lead handover

- Consistently achieve assigned lead generation quotas and performance goals

What skills do we look for?

- 2-8 years of overall experience in Sales, Sales Development, or Inside Sales

- Relevant sales development experience in B2B technology, SaaS industry will be preferred

- Prior sales development experience in the North American market (USA, Canada) will be preferred

- Self-starter with proven success in outbound (cold calling experience is required) and inbound lead generation in competitive and results-driven environments

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Excellent working knowledge of inbound & outbound technologies and tools.

- Demonstrated ability to articulate value propositions of the product to prospective clients

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in spoken and written English.

- Experience of working in a fast growth environment is preferred

- Proficient with sales technology tools including CRM (Salesforce.com experience is strongly preferred), sales engagement platforms and Microsoft Office

- Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization including sales, marketing, product, and engineering

- Start-up experience preferred
