Position Sr. Sales Specialist

Nature of work

This is a senior level position in the sales function. The individual is responsible to manage the entire gamut of sales operations of the region thereby achieving the sales target.

Reports to Business Head /RSM

Qualification and Experience


 - MBA and/ or engineer with specialization in marketing from an institute of repute.

- 7-15 years of experience of selling S/W products /IT enabled solutions in assigned region.

Skill Set Required :

- A good understanding of the organization's business potential and capabilities.

- Should have experience in New Account Acquisition.

- Strong track record of selling high ticket value based solutions.

- Ability to forecast future sales trends and devise future sales strategies for the same.

- Selling Software Products/Solutions across in Para Military (MHA) and Defense (MOD) accounts

- Ability to do account management & mapping Key Decision Makers and Key Influential's at CXO levels

- Devising strategies to maximize sales and realization & implementing them.

- Working with large SIs/Partners on large and complex deals.

- Strategic planning, market plan execution with skills in competitor and market analysis

- Developing relationships at CXO level of customer organization.

- Driving common interest with effective problem solving skills

Key Responsibilities :

- Creating a strategic road map and setting goals & milestones for the team.

- Strategy blue-prints for ROI/market share growth, operational efficiencies and resource optimization

- Responsible for identifying regional sales target, based on the corporate marketing strategy.

- Positioning with various industry stakeholders

- Plan, control and direct activities of sales team to attain maximum sales volume and develop maximum potential volume from existing and potential markets.

- Planning and analysis for assessment of revenue potential in business opportunities.

- Building and maintaining healthy business relations with major customers, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.

- Responsible for creating a compelling value proposition in various segments.

- Create visibility in different areas through participating in events and road-shows. Represent in Seminars, Webinars and in social media.

- Ideation, Conceptualization of business opportunities that lead to new lines of revenue generation.

- Competition Analysis by keeping abreast of Market Trends & achieving market share metrics.

- Work with cross-functional teams for new business opportunities.

- Enable the sales team through knowledge sharing on Domain, Technology and Customer Centric solutions.
