Senior Merchandiser (4-7 yrs)
Responsibilities :
1. Coordinating with Merchandisers and Designers regarding their requirements and make sure it is executed in production.
2. Analysing the cost of garment which involves fabric, trims, computer embroidery, hand embroidery, stitching, etc.
3. Negotiating with machine embroiders, hand embroiders, job workers, etc
4. Following up with process vendors.
5. Ensure that the process vendor's workmanship is as per quality requirements.
6. Understanding the garment processes and construction before going forward with production.
7. Closely working with job workers and process vendors to meet the targeted delivery dates.
8. Coordinating with factory in charge/ manager and master regarding fabric averages and garment construction, follow up on styles.
9. Managing existing vendors and suppliers. Also, can recommend new vendors and suppliers from my contacts to optimise production, if needed.
10. Achieve short turnaround time without compromising quality.
11. Planning & Execution of production/styles handed over by sampling department
12. Handle the team & make sure efficient work flow is maintained
13. Status Update. Work on the time & action plan
