Senior Marketing Manager Role - Media (5-15 yrs)
- Knowledge & Skill requirements:
1. In-depth understanding of PR Fundamentals and strategic communications
2. Strong Public speaking abilities, with experience in presenting to diverse audiences
3. Excellent Business and creative writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives
4. Proficiency in basic designing skills (preferred)
Job Description (key tasks) :
Internal Communications :
- Develop and execute internal communications strategies
- Create compelling content for internal newsletters, emails presentations and other communication channels
- Coordinate with various departments / agencies to gather information
- Manage social media channels including content creation, scheduling and monitoring engagement metrics
External communications :
- Stay abreast of media and industry trends to identify opportunities for external communications
- Generate story ideas, press releases, and thought leadership articles to promote the organization's brand and initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists (bloggers / influencers)
Marketing / Miscellaneous :
- Drive the organization's awards participation, including sourcing relevant awards, compiling submission materials, and managing the submission process
- Identify and pursue speaking opportunities for company executives and subject matter experts at industry events
- Provide support to global teams or other departments on specific projects, as needed
