Senior Manager - Sales - SaaS Firm (5-15 yrs)

Job Summary:

- As the Sr. Sales Manager , you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets. Your primary focus will be driving revenue growth by leading and motivating a high-performing sales team. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including the executive team, marketing department, and product development, to align sales strategies with the companys overall business objectives. This is a leadership role that requires a strong understanding of the SAAS industry, exceptional sales management skills, and a passion for driving results.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and drive revenue growth.

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, setting clear sales targets and performance expectations.

- Collaborate with the marketing department to align sales and marketing strategies, ensuring consistent messaging and effective lead generation.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to maximize business opportunities and foster long-term partnerships.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements and market expansion.

- Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews to assess team progress and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.

- Develop and manage the sales pipeline, forecasting sales targets, and tracking progress against goals.

- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies to effectively position products and services in the market.

- Collaborate with the product development team to provide market insights and contribute to product roadmap planning.

- Prepare and present sales reports, revenue forecasts, and other performance metrics to the executive team on a regular basis.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

- Proven experience in sales leadership roles within the SAAS industry, preferably in e-commerce or marketing technology.

- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

- In-depth knowledge of sales principles and techniques, as well as experience with CRM software.

- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.

- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles.

- Results-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

- Ability to travel as needed within the Indore region.
