Senior Manager - B2B Sales - Carpet/Textile/Home Furnishing (10-15 yrs)

Position Description :

Looking for a sales professional to take up the portfolio of Manager -Sales. The position will be based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India and It will require traveling national and international locations for Trade shows, customer interaction, presentation etc.

The specific responsibilities of this position holder will be (though not restricted to) the following :

- To generate new accounts and develop the business strategy for national and international markets by targeting multiple Rug Retailer, Furniture Segments, wholesalers and partners that ensure attainment of company goals and profitability.

- To attend national as well as international Trade shows & Exhibitions pertaining to the product category and building strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the company's customer base.

- Partner with multiple Rug Retailers and furniture segment to understand their needs and focusing towards Building & maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationship.

- To Work closely with Marketing to ensure consistent lead generation

- Manage day-to-day performance of all sales team members and deliver reviews.

- Track sales team metrics and reporting to leadership.

- Ensure correct usage of CRM and other sales applications.

- To coordinate with the production department and keep a follow up with them regarding the production phase so as to ensure its timely delivery to the customer.

- Work closely with the production, design, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure distributor requirements are met on a timely basis.

Academic and Professional Qualifications -

- MBA with a major in International Business and Marketing from a top-ranked Institute/college.

- Proficiency in working with MS Office - Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, MIS and Web Research.

Work Experience :

- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in the field of sales preferably Product sales.

- Experience Preferably from Carpet/Textile/Home furnishing Industry yet Manufacturing Background can also be considered.

- Excellent communication (verbal & Written) and presentation skills.

- Demonstrated the ability of excellent convincing & negotiation skills and influence credibly and effectively with the customers.

- Should be proactive in developing a comprehensive understanding of the product, the people and the processes involved in making the organization a success story.

- Should consider work as an expression of individual spiritual development and accept responsibility for spearheading organizational aspirations in a result-oriented manner.

- Must have empathy, love, and compassion as an integral part of his/her self - then only the person will be able to lead the presented portfolio in its entirety.

- A firm believer and practitioner of organizational philosophy, values, and culture.

- Proactive and self-starter should be able to accept full responsibility for his/her actions.

- Should endeavor for achieving excellence through continuous learning, innovation, and improvisation in organizational systems and processes.

- Be able to adopt different leadership styles as per the need of the situation and people therein.

- People Management and Development

- Visualize the work progression, existing and future capability requirements in the team and evolve new positions.

- Work in consultation with management and HRD to develop KRAs and KPIs for different team members and get involved with their responsibility allocation and review process.

- Contribute to training and work synchronization for various team members in IT, Web Design and Development, Sales, Branding and Marketing domains in alignment with broad organizational goals
