Senior Executive - International Sales (8-10 yrs)

Each CALYAH product is handmade by expert craftsmen using teak grown in sustainably-managed forests. Today, we have a growing network of over 4,000 independent craftsmen and small furniture-making enterprises that are part of our wood furniture ecosystem.

Our mission is to enrich the lives of our customers through beautiful craftsmanship, timeless design, and to give the opportunity to change the lives of our rural artisans and their communities by purchasing CALYAH products.

Chilasa is based in Chennai and Geneva, Switzerland. We provide a full service offering to help micro and small enterprises overcome the challenges of business growth. Chilasa offers a free of charge membership to carpenters who register and meet our guidelines. Chilasa has nearly 8- 000 artisans and small furniture enterprise

The work description of the Sr. Executive- International Sales includes the following:

Key Roles and Responsibilities, International Sales :

- Managing International Sales Enquiries and convert as a successful order.

- Receive, Manage and respond to e-commerce enquiries and orders for international clients through Shopify.

- Responsible for preparing and sending quotes to the customer and ensure on time responses to confirmation of order.

- Need to prepare and manage data base of International customers, markets, taxes applicability, shipment details of various countries, e- commerce tools, and other IT affairs to ensure uninterrupted data management and services.

- Need to coordinate with accounts team for the International PO, Sales Invoices and other commercials actions.

- Framing International sales Strategy and implementing the same.

- Identify new territories in international markets and bringing growth to the business.

- Manage International Sales with key focus on profitability by ensuring optimal utilization of resources.

Ecommerce

- Responsible for Manage and Administrate the Calyah Website.

- Managing and Administrate Shopify Ecommerce platform

- Operational management of Customer support system for Calyah

- Design and implementation of Calyah.com

- Ensure E- Marketing using social media and other tools.

- Support Marketing promotional activities (if any)

- Written English and language must be impeccable and with demonstrable experience in drafting emails and delivering response on time etc

Qualities/ Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Management

Must have exposure to E Commerce and International Sales, E - Tools like Digital Marketing, Shopify, Social Media, with Good Sales Track Record, Excellent and impeccable English writing and speaking skills is must.
