Senior Editor & Content Strategist
- Unstop is looking for a full-time Senior Editor & Content Strategist who can devise a content strategy that leads to maximum and sustained audience engagement, someone who can create and enforce an effective plan for producing content.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Working with a team of Content Creators to come up with unique content ideas
- Assigning blog posts to writers and aiming at building quality traffic to our website
- Planning, designing, creating, editing, and publishing relevant content
- Overseeing the writing style and tone for all content
- Conducting business communications involving emails
- Managing the content marketing strategy of the company
- Brainstorming creative ways of engaging the audience online
- Strategizing content pillars and sub pillars
- Conducting thorough audits to determine what content should be kept, edited, rewritten, and more
- Delivering quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness
- Managing content marketing campaigns and implementing the best SEO practices
Requirements :
- Samples of your work or portfolio of your published articles
- Good analytical abilities to spot patterns and trends in content marketing data
- Leadership qualities and team-building skills
- Ability to develop own ideas, take initiative and assume responsibility
- A deep understanding of consumers and what motivates them online
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Creative vision, collaboration & storytelling skills
- Great research, organizational, and learning skills
- Attention to detail
Experience :
- Proven work experience (2-5 years) as a Content Strategist, Content Manager or similar role
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Experience in handling and strategizing marketing campaigns
- Familiarity with web publications, SEO guidelines and keyword research tools
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
