Senior Counsellor - Sales - Education (2-6 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Strictly follow KPIs for the team around processes, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction and involvement in the daily operations of admissions ensuring alignment to KPI's and strategic plan and within agreed service levels.

- Counsel prospective students/recruiters to identify appropriate study options including suitable courses and institutions.

- Provide authentic, unbiased, and updated information on institutions and courses when approached by the recruiter. To provide professional and quality counselling service that exceeds customer and client expectations

- Provide necessary counsel guidance, reasonable time frame; prioritize students with appointments.

- Track and respond to all email/call queries from the recruiter in 24 hours

- Ensure that recruiters are informed about the course, institution destination queries, at application stages and attend to matters promptly

- Build a strong relationship with the recruiter through 100% compliance of admission processes. Conduct audits to monitor processes/applications and maintain high quality in Global Admissions.

- Schedule and conduct phone discussions and office meetings to accurately convey course/program information whilst ensuring that each students- /recruiter's needs are being met. This includes advising students regarding admissions requirements, and processes.

- Assist recruiter in determining an appropriate shortlist of applications to submit, thereby ensuring effective use of counseling time.

- Support the recruiter through the admissions and pre-departure processes.

- Visible orientation towards having high-quality service as integral part of work ethics

- Liaise with internal teams for unprecedented delays in offer and confirmation letters

- Strict adherence to the company's quality standards when dealing with platform enquiries by recruiters.

- Maintaining a deep understanding of platform updates, new offerings, and admissions processes and being able to articulate those to customers.

- Provide training to the team so they maintain a deep working knowledge of Adventus University portfolio and relevant industry knowledge.

- Meet (face to face and/or on-line) regularly with the university training team to update product/process knowledge.

- May be required to train staff to enhance their understanding of admission processes to help them to fulfill their roles to a high level.

- Performs any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Manager. Accurately maintain databases; organize and maintain files and records, electronic and physical. Produce and develop reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly reports and statistics for submission) as required to produce data-driven actions with regards to universities, recruiters or geographic regions. Supporting the senior management teams with management reports and special projects.

- The post holder must maintain the confidentiality of information and always meet the requirements of the organization's Data Protection and privacy policies.

Experience Required:

Essential

- Work experience within an education industry / shared services environment.

- Experience of using computerized systems/databases to achieve work goals and tasks.

Desirable

- Proven experience within an international education-related role, preferably within an International Admissions environment.
