Senior Content Strategist (5-10 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- As a Senior Content Strategist, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of content creators, designers, and strategists, developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy for a product as well as associated platforms, and staying up to date with emerging content trends and technologies.
- Act as a consultant and mentor to multiple content teams, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting business goals and delivering high-quality content.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives for the agricultural sector, taking into account the different digital literacy levels of farmers.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to ensure that the content strategy is aligned with business objectives.
- Define key brand messages and value propositions for content and ensure that they are communicated effectively across all channels and audiences.
- Develop and maintain content workflows and governance to ensure that the content creation process is streamlined and consistent across the organization.
- Conduct content audits and use data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth in existing content.
- Prioritize and plan content for multiple channels and audiences, ensuring that the content is optimized for search engines and adheres to SEO best practices.
- Monitor content traffic, engagement, leads, and conversions using analytics tools and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with research teams to conduct stakeholder interviews, user research, and competitor analysis to inform content decisions.
- Manage editorial calendars and delegate content creation tasks to team members as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging content trends and technologies to ensure that the company's content strategy remains relevant and effective.
Profile :
- Bachelor's degree in content creation or user experience, or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in content strategy or a related role, preferably in a digital agency or technology company.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that drive business results.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and guide others towards achieving business objectives.
- Advanced knowledge of user research methodologies and the ability to incorporate research findings into content strategy decisions.
- Advanced knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content for search engines.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with content management systems and publishing workflows.
