Senior Business Development Manager - Fintech Firm (3-5 yrs)

Our client is a startup founded by alumnus of IIM C and MDI Gurgaon. The company operates in the fin-tech domain, helping customers to improve their credit ratings and get access to better financing options and also providing leads and sales enablement services to companies in the BFSI domain. The company is a stable one with a track record of 5 years in which it has helped millions of retail customers improve their credit health and get access to better financing options.

As the Sr. Business Development Manager, you will be responsible to identify new opportunities, manage the sales funnel, accurately forecast their business, and implement new business initiatives to drive strategic revenue.

Key Responsibilities :

- Building pipelines of high volumes and high margin clients across large and mid-size corporates

- Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings

- Identifying, prioritizing, activating and scaling relevant key account relationships

- Planning and preparing presentations

- Taking ownership of specified city/ region and build a sustainable pipeline of revenue

- Working closely with the Sales team to develop new business proposals

- Communicating new product developments to prospective clients

- Developing a sales contact plan through direct marketing, and attending industry events to build relationships with key prospects

- Locating or proposing potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities

- Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations etc.

- Managing client relationships end-to-end from negotiations to contracting to payments/ collections and customer feedback

- Providing management with feedback

- Enhancing own development by taking responsibility for staying informed and up to date with industry knowledge

- Performing marketplace and industry analysis with the goal of identifying product opportunities, and uncovering

potential market and partner plays

Candidate Profile:

- Demonstrable industry experience of 3 - 5 years in BD, HNI/Corporate Client Management(BFSI background)

- Female candidates preferred

- Analytical bent of mind & strong judgmental attributes

- Excellent Communication and negotiation skills

- Good time management skills and ability to multi task

- Ability to work well in and promote a team environment

- Target Oriented

- Flexible for 6 day a week working structure

- Flexible for moderate travel
