Search Engine Optimization Specialist - FMCG (5-9 yrs)
Job Location : Mumbai
Package: 10 - 15 LPA (depending on experience)
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Create, develop and implement effective Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy.
- Responsible for driving overall organic traffic and improving the conversion contribution of organic channels.
- Perform keyword research in coordination with business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
- Administer web core vitals & search engine programs (XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, webmaster tools) for purposes of diagnostic reporting of the business.
- Implement link building campaigns in coordination with the SEO goals of the company
- Track, report and analyze website analytics. Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum engagement and achieve competitive keyword rankings.
- Manage offsite and onsite optimization projects and report on performance.
- Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results
- Work with in house content writers, designers & category teams to ensure the content is relevant to SEO strategy and keyword focus
Qualifications and Experience :
- Analytical and perceptive professional who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams.
- Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential to this role.
- In-depth knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Similarweb, etc.
- Adequate knowledge of both off-page and on-page optimization techniques.
- Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
- Experience in setting up automated reports and dashboards on core SEO KPIs.
- Familiarity with relevant tools and web analytics tools.
- Proven track record of developing and executing SEO strategies.
- Experience in managing a team of SEO Specialists & SEO agencies.
- Experience in conducting technical audits and recommending fixes.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as SEO in India (mandatory)
- Prior experience in a start-up environment is a definite plus
- Data-driven & Entrepreneurial mind-set
