Search Engine Optimization Role - Advertising Firm (2-3 yrs)
This position is responsible for handling SEO, paid search activities (not limited to Adwords, Facebook,Twitter, LinkedIn). This position will focus on using analytics to drive engagement and generate conversions. The position will serve as a subject matter expert in digital strategies, striving to optimize lead generation, nurturing and conversion through various digital media campaigns (SEO + SEM).
Key Responsibilities :
a) Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
b) Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns and provide insights and actionable recommendations to improve the performance.
c) Manage campaign expenses, and budgets.
d) Optimize ad copy and landing pages for search engine marketing. (keyword - ad copy - landing page mapping)
e) Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization.
f) Gathering insights into campaigns and consumer behavior and implementing the learning.
g) Develop near and long-time organic & paid search strategies and campaigns for clients (internal & external)
h) Suggest search engine optimization recommendations by analysing data using analytics tools.
g) Conduct competitor research using tools to for bench-marking and identify new strategies for optimization (organic & paid).
h) Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
i) Work with content and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation.
j) Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
k) Strategize, drive, execute Google shopping campaigns.
Primary Requirements: (Must)
a) Proven SEO & SEM experience.
b) Google Adwords & Analytics certification.
c) Exceptional working knowledge on Google, Bing, Yahoo, YouTube, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter Ad platforms. (MUST)
d) Strong track record in managing medium to large-sized budgets - (B2B & B2C US accounts).
e) Very good communication & presentation skills. (MUST)
f) Strong numerical and analytical skills and in-depth working knowledge with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Omniture)
g) Strong working experience in Microsoft Tools (Excel, Powerpoint)
