The Company is based out of India and has been tremendous traction from the US Market in the last 1 year and believes time is ripe for setting up a US based Sales team. An On-field Sales team will increase our Closure rate and deal sizes especially in mid-market and partner opportunities.

The Company has 85 employees based out of Pune, India. We have raised a financing round and want to expand our office starting with the US.

Your Job Role :

- To prepare sales forecasts,collect and analyze data to evaluate current sales goals.

- Assist in the development of sales quotas and forecasts for the sales team.

- Recommend changes to current sales techniques, procedures or promotional efforts based on market research and new trends.

- Collect,analyze & report data in order to increase sales productivity.

- Guide sales people (Key account managers/Inside Sales) in entering an accurate forecast in our CRM tool, generate reports for forecast & collaborate forecasts into weekly/monthly reports.

- Critical Thinking: Data analysts must look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.

- Attention to Detail: Data is precise. Data analysts have to make sure they are vigilant in their analysis to come to correct conclusions.

- Visualization Skills: Data analysts should be able to visualize the the data in an understandable way. You need to have a good knowledge of various visual tools and should be able to plot the data easily.

Job requirements -

- Graduate in any discipline

- Ability to work on & maintain complex computer applications & programs that perform analysis, organise data & create reports from various sources.

- Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to work independently & within a team environment.

- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel,Project & Power Point.

- Good presentation skills.

- Proficiency in tools such as the ones below is a must:-

- CRM - salesforce.com (reporting, Dashboarding and funneling)

- BI tools such as (Tableau, Birst, and Datawarehouse tools (Snowflakes, etc.)

- Marketing Automation tools like marketo, Pardot, Mailchim

The Opportunity

Messaging is growing exponentially and has become a mainstream communication channel for businesses particularly in the B2C domain. SMS is a spontaneity and direct response channel receive instant attention and a typical campaign get about 40% response rate on text messages, compared to 2 or 3% on emails. We expect this trend to continue for the next 10 years with other messaging enhancements like RCS, Facebook messaging and other channels becoming a part of mainstream business messaging. SMS magic is rightly positioned to serve businesses and help them engage win and retain customers.

We partner with leading CRM's like salesforce.com and Zoho amongst others to enable customers to run messaging campaigns and drive conversations from them. The market for messaging solutions on CRM is huge and opportunity could itself create a new category in the communication or marketing space. As a Sales Analyst you- ll be contributing to building the Sales pipeline & map the forecast of business correctly. Also help in analyzing what areas we are getting more traction from.
